Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vaelo app and website (the "Service"), operated by AERIALCONNECT LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Vaelo provides general self-improvement and educational content. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Please read Section 7 carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Vaelo you confirm that you are 18 or over and able to enter into a binding agreement.

2. The Service

Vaelo is a personal-development app offering goal and task tracking, daily missions, progress tools, and AI-assisted coaching across various life areas. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Vaelo offers a free tier and a paid Vaelo Pro subscription (currently £9.99/month or £99.99/year, prices may vary by region).
Subscriptions purchased in the app are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play; web subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings, or via the billing portal for web subscriptions.
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the store through which you purchased.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it unlawfully, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm others or break the law.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the goals, notes, and other content you create in Vaelo. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Not professional advice

Vaelo and its AI coaching provide general information and motivation only. They do not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as such. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for decisions about your health, finances, or legal matters. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for how you act on them.

8. Intellectual property

The Vaelo name, logo, design, and software are owned by AERIALCONNECT LTD and protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our permission.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
